Viile Metamorfosis describes itself as the place where the entrepreneurial spirit of the Antinori Family and the oenological expertise of Fiorenzo Rista transform passion and work into wine.
The company was founded in 2008 — combining the Antinori family’s centuries of wine tradition with a Romanian vineyard in Urlați and Breaza, covering about 100 hectares of which 67.5 are planted — and the new winery in Ungureni was inaugurated in September 2014 with members of the Antinori family present. The estate has shifted increasingly toward ecological viticulture.
