Casa de Vinuri Negrini

The story

About the estate

In 1990, Casa de Vinuri Negrini took over the former property of General Teodorini in the Drăgășani vineyards — about 10 hectares including a small estate and cellar, with 7 hectares planted to vine. The founder, Cristina Viorica Negrini Gheorghe, set up the winery to honour her father, an oenologist; the ballerina that appears on every label recalls a love story between a previous owner and an Italian dancer.

The vineyards have been replanted to Fetească Regală, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Negru de Drăgășani.
