Founded in 1991 (with first commercial vintages in 2000), Davino farms around 89 hectares in Ceptura. They describe their approach as traditional methods, even if we use state-of-the-art technology — manual ploughing instead of herbicides, strict yield management, hand thinning, and a minimum of 30 months in Romanian oak for the top reds.
A boutique cellar dedicated to Domaine Ceptura Rouge, Flamboyant and Rezervă opened in 2018.
