Founded in 2003 by oenologist Aurelia Vișinescu and her associate Steve Cacenco, on 82 hectares in Dealu Mare where clay and chalk soils meet south-facing slopes. The estate, Domeniile Săhăteni, carries Aurelia’s personal signature across several lines, including Artisan — a series dedicated to indigenous Romanian varieties from the Dealu Mare area.
