The unique qualities that our terroir lends to the wines are a mix of several factors: grape varieties perfectly adapted to the favourability of the soil, the imprint of each year’s climate and of the vineyard manager, and not least important, the winemaker’s final touches. At Licorna Winehouse, wines are born out of the craftsmanship and perseverance of the whole team.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 215 m, half way between the remote villages of Gura Vadului and Vadu Săpat, Prahova County. They are part of Tohani Viticultural Centre and Dealu Mare Vineyard, respectively.
The 20 hectares are covered with the following grape varieties: Sauvignon blanc, Fetească albă, Chardonnay, Tămâioasă românească, Fetească neagră, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
