La Stejari Merlot impresses with its finesse. Discreet at the opening, the wine, with its intense purplish-red color, expresses itself after a few minutes of aeration with elegant aromas of violet and forest fruits: blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, complemented by vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg aromas from barrel aging.
Dense in taste, with elegant tannins of attractive firmness. The acidity and alcohol are perfectly integrated, confirming another perfect year for Merlot.
The wine was aged for 12 months in new barrels of French origin from Dargeaux & Jaegle, one of the most renowned producers, with oak from the Allier forest. After this, it was bottled without filtration and then matured for another 10 months in the bottle.
A refined, rigorous, and delicious wine, suitable for aging for a minimum of 10 years.
