“True strength lies in submission which permits one to dedicate his life, through devotion, to something beyond himself.”
— Henry Miller
Syrah,
Cabernet Sauvignon,
Marselan
The grapes are hand-harvested. Cabernet Sauvignon and Marselan underwent classical maceration-fermentation in piston winemakers, whereas for Syrah we chose carbonic maceration of undestemmed grapes.
Aging was made in first and second use French and America oak barrels for 6 to 12 months.
On the first contact, Minima Moralia Devotion is a wine with a timid attack, with dark notes of dry figs, wood, earth and ink darkness.
It instantly unveils the jam and fresh fruits nuances, doubled by a less noticeable range of flavors which contribute to completing the whole – tobacco, fine leather, pepper and spices, a tinge of vanilla and an unperceivable allusion to exotic fruit.
The taste seems an encounter of youth and maturity, with well measured, perfectly integrated tannins, confering weight and balance to a youthful acidity that reduces somewhat the austere nuances of the wine.
Recommended serving temperature 16ºC – 18ºC.
