Marama Tămâioasă Roză is a dry rosé wine made from Romania’s indigenous Tămâioasă Roză grape, hand-harvested from a unique vineyard parcel that still includes mother vines over 100 years old. A true expression of the Oltenian terroir, this wine highlights the remarkable potential of native Romanian varieties.
Vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and aged on fine lees, it reveals complex and delicate aromas of roses and fresh red fruits. Elegant and youthful, the palate is fresh, expressive, and well-balanced, with a vibrant character that makes it both distinctive and memorable.
Minimal intervention preserves the wine’s authenticity, and any natural sediment is a sign of this careful approach.
This exceptional wine was awarded 100 points at Femmes et Vins du Monde, one of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions — a rare and remarkable distinction, and a historic achievement for a Romanian wine.
Best served at 11–13°C, Marama Tămâioasă Roză is an inspired choice for light dishes, summer meals, or simply enjoyed on its own.
