This is one of the three top wines produced under “La Sapata” brand by the winery established by four Italians winemakers who consider Romania, and more specific Danube Delta, as been theirs second home.
The wine culture is present in this area from thousands of years, is the oldest vineyard from Dobrogea county. Because the winery is near the Danube Delta Biosphere Reservation and of the long tradition of wine-making existing in the area, the winery popularizes the organic farming concept, based on local tradition beside the new technology.
The wine presents a deep ruby red color and aromas of morello cherries, prunes and coffee. The taste is soft and round, distinctive for this grape, with fresh and fruity sensations completed by soft tannins for a very good balance.
