With an exceptional aromatic complexity, Pinot Noir Red from Jidvei is dry and balanced, with juicy red fruit sensations complemented by mature and velvety notes, characteristic of short bottle aging. We find fresh fruits—cherries and sour cherries, raspberries, and blackcurrants—alongside pleasant hints of licorice, cigars, and tanned leather.

Creativity and courage are encapsulated in this iconic wine, a first among Jidvei wines, bringing together human craftsmanship and technological innovation. Pinot Noir Red highlights the fruity character of the variety, and the high acidity, specific to the vineyard, gives it excellent aging potential. For this very special wine, a 5-hectare plot of vines located in Tăuni, in the “Pe platou” area, was selected, and to shape its velvety texture, 25% of the wine was finished in 225-liter French oak barrels, used for the first time.
