A bold expression of Romania’s signature red grape, fermented exclusively with wild, naturally occurring yeasts from the vineyard.
In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby hue and a vibrant bouquet of ripe plums and red currants. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegant, with supple, well-integrated tannins and a long, velvety finish. By avoiding oak maturation, this wine captures the purest essence of the Fetească Neagră variety — unmasked, authentic, and expressive.
Terroir & Winemaking
Sourced from a parcel at 200 meters altitude with soils of chernozem, sand, and gravel, the grapes were carefully selected and allowed to ferment spontaneously with their own wild yeasts. Every step was meticulously monitored to protect the natural process, resulting in a wine that reflects both the land and the variety in its truest form.
Food Pairing
Enjoyed on its own, it is also a perfect match for refined duck and pork dishes, lasagna, pasta with Bolognese sauce, or platters of semi-hard cheeses.
